Find Peace of Mind for You and Your Loved Ones

Every day can be challenging when you or someone you love is coping with a life-limiting illness. But you don’t have to face the challenges of serious illness alone.

Since 1980, the team at Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care has helped thousands of patients and their families face the physical, emotional and spiritual demands of life-limiting illness. We understand the uncertainty, but also the hope, that accompany these difficult times. We will answer your questions to help you make informed choices about your care, and offer resources and support that could help. Request a Care Consult today or consider making a donation in support of services that benefit the families in our community, because everyone deserves peace of mind.

Our Services

Most of our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance – and with generous support from Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation donors. We aim to serve all who need our care.

Hospice Care

Living with Help from Hospice

Hospice provides comfort through patient and family centered care delivered by a team of experts. Hospice provides medications, medical equipment, supplies, and visits to patients where they live.

Palliative Care

Receiving Help from Symptoms

Palliative Care provides relief to those with a serious, life-limiting illness. Services may begin at initial diagnosis and continue through your treatment plan.

Grief Support

Moving Forward while Grieving

Our Center for Grief and Loss offers a full range of support services to help you and your family process your loss. Services include support groups, individual counseling, children and teen support, as well as memorial services.

Hope Lives

Pass it On

We’ve been offering our truly extraordinary physical, emotional and spiritual support to those facing life-limiting illness since 1980. Throughout these 40 years, we’ve been told by thousands of families that they simply couldn’t have done it without us. Sadly, however, we continue to see hospice-eligible patients delay admission, spending days rather than months receiving the comfort care that improves quality of life; grieving families in crisis as they anticipate the death of someone important to them; and people postponing communication about the kind of care they hope to receive at the end of life.

We’ve recently embarked on an important initiative to shift this regrettable trend and bring our services to everyone in our community who could benefit from them. How? By asking those who have first-hand experience with our organization to spread the word about Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care – sharing the message that even when a cure is not to be, here in our compassionate embrace, there is still reason to hope:

  • That your days can be lived in comfort and peace
  • That you’ll be cared for with expertise, dignity and respect
  • That your wishes will be understood and honored
  • That your loved ones will be supported and strengthened

Thank you for all you did for Jeff and I during his time in hospice. Everyone I talked to was so kind and caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pikes Peak to anyone needing end of life support.

Mary, Sonya, more

We can’t thank you all enough for doing a hospice to hospice transfer, making a stressful situation so much easier, and getting the bed to our home and making it possible for my mom to go to heaven from her earthly home. That meant a lot to me we couldn’t have done it without you. So thank you for all that and providing support as well! Hospice is a wonderful organization!

Frank Family

The care Vicky gave Betty, even when she was cranky or when she was being contrary was wonderful. Vicki and the whole staff were so helpful in letting her stay at home while she transitioned to the end. We are thankful for the support of the Inpatient Unit for respite and the wonderful care she received in her last few days.
